The Manual Handling Awareness course provides essential training on safe lifting and handling techniques to prevent injuries in the workplace. Participants learn about the risks associated with manual handling tasks, including lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy objects.
 
On successful completion of this course you will be eligible to receive a Statement of Attendance in Manual Handling Awareness.

No prerequisites are required for this course 

Basic Language, literacy and numeracy skills in English (LLN)

Victorian Student Number (VSN) – Victoria only

Unique Student Identifier (USI) – Australia wide

Access to a functional pc or tablet device with video recording capabilities, internet access and Chrome internet browser.

The course covers the theory and practice associated with

1. What is Manual Handling
2. Identifying hazardous manual tasks
3. Management of risk and control measures

This unit is completed by self-paced work online.

The nominal hours for the course are 75hrs Online access remains live for 3 months.
