This course on Drug and Alcohol Awareness provides comprehensive training on understanding the impacts, risks, and management of drug and alcohol use in various contexts, particularly in the workplace.
 
On successful completion of this course you will be eligible to receive a Statement of Attendance in Drug & Alcohol Awareness.

No prerequisites are required for this course 

Basic Language, literacy and numeracy skills in English (LLN)

Victorian Student Number (VSN) – Victoria only

Unique Student Identifier (USI) – Australia wide

Access to a functional pc or tablet device with video recording capabilities, internet access and Chrome internet browser.

The course covers the theory and practice associated with:

1. What are alcohol and drugs?
2. Health effects associated with using alcohol and drugs
3. Impact of drug and alcohol use in the workplace
4. Maintaining and promoting a safe workplace that is free from alcohol and drugs

This unit is completed by self-paced work online.

The nominal hours for the course are 75hrs Online access remains live for 3 months.
