This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to develop and implement operational strategies and procedures for new businesses. The unit applies to those establishing a business providing self-employment, as well as those establishing a new venture as part of a larger organisation. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication

Basic Language, literacy and numeracy skills in English (LLN)

Access to a functional pc or tablet device with video recording capabilities, internet access and Chrome internet browser.

The course covers the theory and practice associated with:

• Implement developed operational strategies and procedures
• Evaluate business performance
• Review business operations

The nominal hours for the course are 75hrs Online access remains live for 3 months.
